A downloadable Tabletop Game
PENTACLAST
Five regions. Five missing senses. Five Chosen. One chance to make humanity whole.
Every land in Pentaclast takes something from the people who enter it.
In Myrrahn, sight disappears. In Aurelis, there is no hearing. In Kharrow, no one can feel touch or pain. In Brevane, smell does not exist. In Serevia, taste is unknown.
For more than two thousand years, entire civilizations have grown around those absences.
Once every fifty years, one person from each region is chosen to enter the Concord, a sealed territory at the center of the world. There, five ancient medallions allow the Chosen to travel across Pentaclast without losing additional senses.
Most generations wasted that freedom.
This generation may not get another chance.
Something beneath the Concord is waking.
Five lost Remnants are scattered across the regions. Recovering them may restore what humanity lost during the ancient Severing, but every Remnant belongs to a living culture with its own leaders, factions, fears, and reasons for refusing to let it go.
The Chosen can negotiate.
They can bargain.
They can steal.
They can fight.
They can leave a Remnant behind.
Pentaclast remembers what they choose.
A CAMPAIGN BUILT AROUND CONSEQUENCES
Pentaclast is a system-neutral tabletop RPG campaign setting and adventure designed to work with the fantasy RPG system your group already prefers.
There is no required route through the campaign.
Players decide:
- which Remnants to pursue first
- whether to travel together or separate
- which regional factions to support
- whether to earn, steal, or fight for what they need
- when to stop searching and confront the threat beneath the Concord
- whether a missing Remnant is worth a sacrifice
- whether restoring all five senses is even the right ending
Regional relationships change according to how the Chosen behave.
A faction that helps you early may stand beside you at the end.
A region you robbed may close its roads when you need them most.
THE WORLD WILL NOT WAIT
After the third Remnant is recovered, the Awakening Clock begins.
The borders between the five sensory regions start moving.
People are caught in violent sensory changes without the protection of a normal Crossing. Settlements fracture. Travel routes shift. Governments panic.
The Chosen can confront the threat early with limited power or continue searching for the remaining Remnants while Pentaclast collapses around them.
Wait too long and the decision is made for you.
BUILD YOUR OWN PENTACLAST
Pentaclast is always a five-sided world surrounding the central Concord, but the GM may decide which regions border one another.
Use the included sample arrangement or build your own version with the modular map.
Changing the map changes trade routes, political pressure, border security, travel, and the path the Chosen take through the campaign.

SYSTEM-NEUTRAL
Pentaclast does not include a proprietary combat system, character classes, or numerical progression.
Bring the RPG system you already enjoy.

Pentaclast provides the world, campaign structure, mysteries, factions, choices, and consequences.
The five Chosen do not need to agree.
They only need to decide what kind of world survives them.
